Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Veselé Vianoce a St'astný Nový Rok! (Slovak)
Wesol~ych S'wie~t i Szczs'e~liwego Nowego Roku! (Polish)
------------------------------------------------------------------
Our greetings to you across the world at this special Holiday season. It
is a season filled with family and fun and memories of the wonderful
heritage we share. May each of you enjoy a safe and memorable time with
those you love wherever you are whatever you do. And may 2001 find you and
your family happy and healthy.
This monthly newsletter will be brief, but let me share just a few
things with you. A map and complete village list of the new TARG Project has
been published in a special and thick Holiday issue of the CSGSA journal
"Vc^era a dnes". Any TARG members (that's all of you!) can get a free
complementary copy of this issue mailed to you. E-mail your mailing address
to me and I be sure a copy is sent to you.
If you want information about the FANTASTIC Goral Homecoming 2001 Trip
many of us are taking to our TARG area next August, or info on obtaining the
latest Slovak Pride update you can contact Helene B. Cincebeaux at:
151 Colebrook Drive
Rochester, NY 14617-2215
Toll free: 1 (888) 529-7150
E-mail: helenezx@aol.com
I also have trip fliers here if you want to write for one.
Again, Happy Holidays. I am looking forward to a wonderful 2001 with you!

TARG HOLIDAY WEATHER UPDATE__________________
My cousin in Jurgów tells me that the Tatra Holiday forecast is pretty mild.
So far they have had a scant 2" of snow and temperatures a balmy 3 to 14 °F!
Needless to say all of the villagers and animals are staying warm, but the
skiers are, or course, not happy.

FREEBEE DIACRITICS____________
Here are some useful diacritics (and other odd symbols) which seem to work
for most on most e-mail setups. If you are having trouble getting your
keyboard or e-mail program to give you any of these:
éóýáäÍíúŽžßŠš§°*•
try cutting and pasting as needed.
